PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain disadvantage caused by remaining EGR gas and disadvantage caused by staying water.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine system 1 has an EGR system 8 for constituting an LPL-EGR device, and a bypass system 10. Bypass passages 11 and 13 of the bypass system 10 introduce fresh air from the upstream side of an EGR outlet 9b of the EGR system 8, to be supplied to a supercharged part 4d just before the internal combustion engine 2. A control device 15 supplies the fresh air via the bypass passages 11 and 13 for restraining the disadvantage by remaining EGR. The bypass system 10 also has a water passage 12 for making the staying water gathered in an intake system 3 flow in the bypass passages 11 and 13. The control device 15 supplies the staying water to the internal combustion engine 2 via the water passage 12 and the bypass passages 11 and 13 for restraining the disadvantage by the staying water. Dilution of the remaining EGR gas and discharge of the staying water become possible by one bypass system 10. |
