<p>Embodiments of the present application and the present invention relate to the field of wireless communications, and specifically relate to a method, device, and system for transmitting paging information, used for solving the problem found in the prior art that a channel used for transmitting the paging information is provided with poor coverage capacity that easily causes a terminal to be unable to receive normally data transmitted by a network side in cases of weak signals. The method of the embodiments of the present application for transmitting the paging information comprises: when a network side receives a paging request of a calling terminal, transmitting the paging information via an enhanced paging channel; and receiving a paging response returned by a called terminal. Relative to other channels in the system, the enhanced paging channel of the embodiments of the present application increases the coverage capacity of the channel, thus, when the paging information is transmitted via the enhanced channel, an increased number of terminals are allowed to detect the paging information in the enhanced paging channel even when located indoors or at a blind spot, thereby increasing the rate of success in transmitting the paging information.</p> |
