PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fireproofing protection structure for a steelwork, capable of keeping a volume smaller before exposed to heat of a fire or the like, and of forming expansion residues having a sufficient thickness when the steelwork is exposed to heat of a fire or the like.SOLUTION: The fireproofing protection structure for the steelwork includes, at least, the steelwork installed near a section, a thermally-expansive fireproof sheet for covering the steelwork, combustible fixing auxiliary plates for pressing both ends of the thermally-expansive fireproof sheet at their outsides in the direction of the section, and fixing means for fixing both ends of the thermally-expansive fireproof sheet to the section, both ends of the thermally-expansive fireproof sheet covering the steelwork being pressed at their outsides in the direction of the section by the combustible fixing auxiliary plates and fixed to the section by the fixing means, respectively. When the fireproofing protection structure for the steelwork according to this invention is exposed to heat of a fire or the like, the combustible fixing auxiliary plates are burnt out to slack the thermally-expansive fireproof sheet, thus producing a space where the thermally-expansive fireproof sheet expands. |
