PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make unconformity between adjacent frames inconspicuous when an interpolation method is changed over.SOLUTION: A point of view position adjustment part selects an interpolation direction in accordance with a scale value. In this case, when the scale value (a parallax range) is small, since unconformity between left and right images is small, the point of view position adjustment part selects a right as a provisional interpolation direction when the scale value is more than a predetermined threshold value. When the scale value is less than the threshold value, so as to interpolate a nearer image, that is, when a point of view phase is less than 0.5, the point of view position adjustment part selects a left as the provisional interpolation direction and when the point of view phase is more than 0.5, the point of view position adjustment part selects the right. The present disclosure is applicable to, for example, image process devices used for a display of a multi-dimensional image and performing an image process. |
