PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hyaluronic acid production promotor having no safety issues; and to provide foods and drinks for promoting hyaluronic acid production and cosmetics for promoting hyaluronic acid production formulated with such a substance.SOLUTION: A hyaluronic acid production promotor, a hyaluronic acid production promoting food and drink and a hyaluronic acid production promoting cosmetic employ, as an active ingredient, lactoperoxidase decomposition product obtained by decomposing the lactoperoxidase and/or lactoperoxidase decomposition product obtained by decomposing the lactoperoxidase with a protease such as pepsin and pancreatin. The lactoperoxidase and the lactoperoxidase decomposition product have the effect of increasing the amount of hyaluronic acid.
