The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for providing a panoramic image by reconfiguring frame images which are captured by a panoramic image capturing device. The method for providing the panoramic image, according to the present invention, comprises a step of reconfiguring images through scaling so that the images that are reconfigured to have an identical size, when reconfiguring the images according to a plurality of image layers, selecting clear images by analyzing the clarity of the images that are reconfigured, and then generating a combined image by connecting and combining the images that are selected. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide an image produced from a basic panoramic image in which portions that have a blurry plane of focus are eliminated and only portions that are in focus are included. |
