The invention relates to a cabin air filter, comprising a filter element receptacle and a filter element comprising a fold pack. The filter element can be inserted into the filter element receptacle in an insertion direction. The filter element has a sword, which extends out from the filter element in the insertion direction. The sword is preferably so inherently stable that the sword can transmit compressive forces from the filter element to the filter element receptacle.
