Provided is a manufacturing method that, despite being a simple process, makes it possible to manufacture multiple-pane glass that has no protrusions protruding from the outside surfaces of glass sheets. The periphery of a pair of glass sheets (1, 2) that are disposed opposite each other with a prescribed separation therebetween is sealed using a sealing material (4), forming between the glass sheets a space (3) that can be made airtight; the pressure inside said space is reduced by evacuating the air therefrom via an evacuation port (9); said space is then partitioned by region-forming materials (5a, 6a, 7a) disposed inside the space, forming partial regions (A, B, C) that do not contain the evacuation port; and said partial regions are then cut out from the pair of glass sheets. |
