The pressure wave supercharger has a cell rotor shell, in which a cell rotor (1) is arranged in a rotatable manner, where the cell rotor has two superimposed rows of chambers (16) extending in a radial direction (R) and arranged with respective cells (17). The rows of chambers are separated by separating plates (3). The separating plates have a C-shaped cross-sectional configuration, where the separation between two cells is formed by a fundamental web (4). An inner leg (5) oriented in the radial direction is formed longer than an outboard leg (6). An independent claim is included for a method for producing a cell rotor for a pressure wave supercharger.
