A robot for testing blades of a wind power generator and a testing method according to the present invention includes processes of inserting the blades of the wind power generator inside a frame by the blade testing robot which moved upward; sensing the state of the blades through various kinds of tests by the blade testing robot; and transmitting the results by the blade testing robot through wireless communication. The present invention is provided to enable the state of the blades hard to check by human beings to be checked by the unmanned testing robot, thereby providing safety and convenience.
