PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof case for an electronic device that allows a user to operate a capacitive touch panel underwater and allows a user to perform a desired operation at a desired position on the touch panel.SOLUTION: A smartphone 100 is accommodated in a waterproof case 1 for an electronic device with an operation unit 11 positioned at the front side of a touch panel 103, and a housing bag 10 is sealed with the housing bag 10 and the smartphone 100 coming into contact with each other. An encapsulated material 11b that is an insulator is sealed in the operation unit 11, so that the touch panel 103 does not contact water and the touch panel 103 does not receive input. When a user presses the operation unit 11 with a finger, the finger comes into contact with the touch panel 103 through the housing bag 10 and the like. This allows the touch panel 103 to detect change in capacitance, resulting in reception of input by the touch panel 103. |
