PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of performing image formation by an appropriate control program even when a developing device and a toner supply device (toner) are changed.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 includes a developing device 110, a toner supply device 120, an EEPROM 130, and a CPU 140. The developing device 110 has an EEPROM 111 that stores identification information thereof. The toner supply device 120 has an EEPROM 121 that stores identification information of toner accommodated therein. The EEPROM 130 stores a control program to control an image forming operation according to the information stored in the EEPROM 111 and the EEPROM 121. The CPU 140, when detecting that the developing device 110 or the toner supply device 120 is changed, downloads the control program corresponding to the EEPROM 111 and the EEPROM 121 from a management server 200 as appropriate, and executes the control program during image formation. |
