PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the work of fixing a metal plate on each of both sides, by facilitating the handling of a core material constituted by arranging a plurality of core material blocks, and having a fiber elongation direction directed along a thickness direction.SOLUTION: A plurality of core material blocks 10 cut out from a raw fabric 1 of rock wool are juxtaposed in the state of directing the elongation direction of a fiber 1a along the thickness direction, and an adhesive 25 is applied on the top face thereof to form a first core material block layer 21. The core material blocks 10 in the state of directing the elongation direction of the fiber 1a along the thickness direction are laminated on the top face of the first core material block layer 21 in a zigzag pattern or in parallel crosses to form a second core material block layer 22, and the core material block layers 21, 22 in a laminated state are pressed in the thickness direction to obtain a core material 20. |
