Dog leash having a bight with two opposite leash ends with at least one leash end provided with a slip knot slidingly mounted on the leash for forming a closed loop having a loop end remote from the slip knot and an initial loop size depending on the slip knot's initial position along the leash. The slip knot is capable of being manually urged along the leash by a dog handler holding the slip knot in one hand and pulling on the leash adjacent the slip knot either on the loop side to lengthen the closed loop or between the slip knot and the other leash end to shorten the closed loop. |
