The present invention relates to the field of input device technologies, and disclosed is a backplane keyboard. The backplane keyboard comprises: a main unit arrangement slot, a back main key area, a side key area, and a front key area. The main unit arrangement slot and the back main key area are respectively disposed on two opposite faces of the backplane keyboard, the side key area is disposed on a lateral side of the backplane keyboard, and the front key area is disposed on a face same as that on which the main unit arrangement slot is disposed. The backplane keyboard of the present invention can be used in devices such as a mobile phone, a PDA, an electronic dictionary, and a computer. The backplane keyboard fully utilizes the limited size of a mobile device through reasonable distribution of a plurality of key areas, and particularly the main unit arrangement slot enables the main unit to be conveniently fixed on the keyboard. Secondly, the backplane keyboard of the present invention implements all key functions with a reasonable number of keys through switching between a plurality of key value groups. The keyboard is small in volume, convenient for input, flexible for finger manipulation, and accurate for positioning, and provides a more flexible and rapid input manner for a user. |
