PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator that is improved in freshness preservation performance and is easy to use while being improved in energy saving performance.SOLUTION: A refrigerator includes: a storage amount estimation unit 23 for estimating a storage amount in a storage compartment; a memory unit 64 for storing estimation results of the storage amount estimation unit 23; a storage amount change prediction unit for predicting the change of the storage amount in the storage compartment in future from the data of the memory unit 64; and a calculation control unit 22 for controlling an output operation of electrical function components, based on the storage amount change prediction data in the future of the storage amount change prediction unit. By using the estimation results of the previous storage amount stored in the memory unit 64 as reference data, a storage change amount is calculated based on the reference data and the estimation results of the storage amount estimation unit. Accordingly, it becomes possible to predict the change of the storage amount in the storage compartment in the future and properly copes therewith, thereby providing the refrigerator that is improved in freshness preservation performance and is easy to use while being improved in energy saving performance. |
