PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer that can easily perform an attach or detach operation of a print head.SOLUTION: A printer 10 has thermal heads 16Y-16B, and includes: a print head unit 50 that is attachable or detachable to/from the printer 10; a head support shaft 18; and a head pressing shaft 19 that is provided in parallel to the head support shaft 18 to be rotatably movable centering on the head support shaft 18 and gives pressing force to the thermal head 16Y-16B to press platen rollers 15Y-15B in a pressing direction. A print head unit 50 has: a support shaft engaging part 52a that engages the head support shaft 18 by being moved from a direction to intersect the pressing direction to a first direction where the head support shaft 18 is inserted; and a pressing shaft engaging part 53b that engages the head pressing shaft 19 by snap fitting from a second direction that intersects the first direction. |
