PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel in which degradation of electrodes is suppressed.SOLUTION: A touch panel 1 is a capacitance type, and includes plural translucent first electrodes 4 extending in a Y direction and plural translucent second electrodes 5 extending in an X direction disposed on one surface of a transparent substrate 2. The second electrodes 5 are continuous and the first electrodes 4 are discontinuous at intersection parts 8 of the first electrodes 4 and the second electrodes 5. Interlayer insulating films 3 are formed on a layer above the second electrodes 5 at the intersection parts 8. Bridge electrodes 6 for connecting the first electrodes 4 discontinuous at the intersection parts 8 are disposed on a layer above the interlayer insulating films 3. The bridge electrodes 6 are made of a low-resistance and high-reliability metal. The second electrodes 5 are made of ITO having high light transmissivity. When the touch panel 1 is driven, the first electrodes 4 are supplied with a constant voltage, and the second electrodes 5 are supplied with a voltage equal to that supplied to the first electrodes 4 and a pulse voltage having a low potential lower than and a high potential higher than a potential of the first electrodes 4. |
