PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material suitable as a constituent material of a movable electrode of a temperature fuse which allow for cost reduction while employing an Ag-CuO-based alloy as a base, and ensures excellent conductivity.SOLUTION: An electrode material composing a movable electrode of a temperature fuse has a clad structure of 5 layers consisting of a core material layer, intermediate layers formed on both sides of the core material layer, and surface layers formed on the intermediate layers. The core material layer is composed of Cu; the intermediate layer is composed of an Ag-Cu-based alloy; the surface layer is composed of an Ag-CuO-based oxide dispersion strengthened alloy; and the ratio of the thickness of the intermediate layer to the thickness of the surface layer (intermediate layer/surface layer) is 0.2-1.0. The electrode material can be produced by subjecting a three-layer clad material, obtained by cladding a plate material composed of the Ag-Cu-based alloy to both sides of a plate material composed of Cu, partially to internal oxidation treatment. |
