PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a local reproducer which can reproduce evanescent waves without using a plurality of filters.SOLUTION: The local reproducer includes a speaker array and a signal generation unit. The speaker array is configured by arranging two or more speakers of two types where the phases of reproduced signals are different by 180 degrees alternately on a circle of radius rat regular intervals. The signal generation unit converts an input signal into a signal having a frequency f=Nc/4&pgr;rdetermined by the number N of the speakers, where c is the sonic speed. With such a configuration, it is possible to perform local reproduction without using a filter group (a part for multiplying each filter coefficient) which is required in prior art. |
