PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slope protection method, capable of protecting a top soil from being collapsed while suppressing the possibility of falling stone in a slope as much as possible and capable of promoting growth of vegetation, and a structure of the slope.SOLUTION: A slope protection method for protecting a slope having fragmented rock, peeling-off of base rock, or loose surface layer comprises: a solidified soil layer forming step of spraying a solidification material containing soil as a main component to form a solidified soil layer on the surface of a slope; a reinforcement insertion step of making a hole in the slope from the solidified soil layer, inserting a bar-like reinforcing member into the hole, and making the tip of the bar-like reinforcing member protrude from an inclined surface of the slope to inject grout into the air-gap of the hole; a vegetation base forming step of spraying a vegetation base material onto the solidified soil layer to form a vegetation base layer on the solidified soil layer; an erosion prevention mat fixing step of laying a soil erosion prevention mat on the vegetation base layer and fixing the soil erosion prevention mat to the slope with pins; and a net fixing step of laying a net on the soil erosion prevention mat and fixing the net to the tip of the bar-like reinforcing member. |
