The suction plate (10) has a planar base portion (12) that is provided with intake opening on underside (14). The intake opening is connected with suction device through suction port of an intake passage arrangement (20). A suction channel arrangement (26) is connected with suction pipe portion (28) which is connected with suction device, and is provided with suction central opening (24) to supply a de-icing agent (30). The suction channel arrangement is formed separately from intake passage arrangement, and suction central opening is spaced apart from suction opening. An independent claim is included for a method for defrosting and sucking fluids and particle.
