<p>The present invention is suitable for the field of computer technologies, and provides a file processing method based on snapshot. The method comprises: receiving a file backup command; establishing a mapping table from a logic address to a physical address, which is currently used by the file; receiving a file backup recovery command; and storing a mapping table from a logic address to a physical address, which is used by an appointed backup of the file, to the mapping table from the logic address to the physical address, which is currently used. Preferentially, if the file has constant data before and after being operated, a corresponding first snapshot produced before the file is operated and a corresponding second snapshot produced after the file is operated share the physical address of the data. Therefore, according to the present invention, the file can be conveniently backed up and recovered, and all backups of the file can share a large quantity of constant data to save disk space.</p> |
