PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cured product excellent in heat resistance, transparency, wet heat resistance and the like and useful for various uses such as optical materials; and to provide a resin composition giving the same.SOLUTION: An epoxy type cured product includes an epoxy compound, wherein the initial parallel line transmittance at a wavelength of 400 nm and a thickness of 1 mm is ≥70%, and the parallel line transmittance retention to the initial parallel line transmittance is ≥90% after held in an atmosphere having a temperature of 85°C and a relative humidity of 85% for 1,000 hrs. A cation-curable resin composition contains an epoxy compound and a specific cation-curable catalyst. |
