PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus improving visibility of a movement direction of an ultrasonic probe during scanning, in a panoramic scan.SOLUTION: A direction decision part 16a decides a movement direction of an ultrasonic probe. A scan control part 16c controls a transmission/reception part to repeatedly perform a first scan transmitting/receiving an ultrasonic signal in a first direction to collect first image data, a second scan transmitting/receiving the ultrasonic signal in a second direction obliquely inclined in the movement direction relatively to the first direction to collect second image data. An image composition part 14b generates panoramic image data wherein a plurality of pieces of first image data collected by the first scan are composed. A display control part 16d, during scanning, makes a display part display the second image data together with the panoramic image data or the first image data. |
