PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool capable of efficiently cooling a switching element, and appropriately stopping a power delivery to a motor based on a measured temperature of the switching element.SOLUTION: An output side of a motor 15 is fixed to a body housing 12 via a metallic tool 37 that pivotally supports an output shaft 16. The tool 37 includes a bottomed cylindrical motor holding member 38 that doubles as a fan housing covering a cooling fan 18 connected to the output shaft 16 of the motor 15 and a heat sink 39 extended from the motor holding member 38 toward the downstream side of blast direction of the cooling fan 18, which faces across a clearance the outer peripheral surface of the motor 15. A switching element 40 consisting of FET is attached to an outer side surface of the heat sink 39, and a temperature sensor 43 is installed between the heat sink 39 attached surface and the opposite surface of the switching element 40. |
