PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing apparatus which gives the degree of freedom to the delivery of a laser beam to a processing tool, improves the degree of freedom of a facility layout and the operation of the processing tool, and stabilizes the operation of the processing tool to improve processing accuracy.SOLUTION: A processing apparatus 1, provided with a laser processing tool 2 that laser-processes a workpiece, a flexible cable 5 that ties a laser oscillator and the laser processing tool 2, and a processing tool moving mechanism 3 that moves the laser processing tool 2 to a processing position, includes a cable holder 6 that holds the flexible cable 5 at a position at a constant length distance from the laser processing tool 2, and a cable holder moving mechanism 4 that moves the cable holder 6 with the movement of the laser processing tool 2 by the processing tool moving mechanism 3. |
