PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the workability of casting by making a mold matching surface of a main mold into a simple shape by fixing a casting core not to project from to the mold matching surface of the main mold when casting with a pair of main molds combined is performed.SOLUTION: A sand mold manufacturing method of a mold includes: a first procedure to prepare a shell mold 10 (embedded main mold) for forming one side of a flange shape of a tube body, and a mold model 40 having a main mold model 42 provided on a mold matching surface forming surface 41 and a positioning guide section 43 for positioning the shell mold 10 in a position corresponding to the flange shape; a second procedure to place the shell mold 10 according to the positioning guide section 43; a third procedure to forming an upper main mold 21(main mold) by covering the main mold model 42 and the shell mold 10 with casting sand on the mold matching surface forming surface 41; and a fourth procedure to separate the upper main mold 21, integrated with the shell mold 10, from the mold model 40 in a state where the casting sand hardens around the shell mold 10. |
