PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a sealing cover and an organic element from contacting with each other and simplify the manufacturing processes even when an external force is applied to the sealing cover in an organic device where the organic element is sealed by the sealing cover in a hollow manner.SOLUTION: An organic device 1 includes: an organic element 3 disposed on a substrate 2; a sealing cover 4 which is disposed on the substrate 2 facing the substrate 2 and seals the organic element 3 in a hollow manner; and reinforcement members 5 separately formed from the sealing cover 4. The sealing cover 4 includes: a peripheral edge part 41 contacting with the substrate 2; and a recessed part 42 located at the inner side of the peripheral edge part 41 and serving as a space for housing the organic element 3. The reinforcement members 5 are disposed on a peripheral surface 42a and a bottom surface 42b of an inner wall of the recessed part 42. Even if an external force is applied to the sealing cover 4, stress is dispersed by the reinforcement members 5. Thus, the structure reduces the deflection of the sealing cover 4 and prevents the contact between the sealing cover 4 and the organic element 3. Further, the reinforcement members 5 are disposed on the sealing cover 4 only by attaching the reinforcement members 5, which are formed in advance, to the sealing cover 4. |
