The invention relates to a transformation sonotrode (3) which is represented by a hollow cylinder which tapers from a first end face (12, 13) toward a second end face (17, 18), wherein, for the purpose of absorbing mechanical oscillations, the hollow cylinder can be coupled at a first end face (12, 13) to an electromechanical converter (1, 2), and can be coupled to a sonotrode for transmitting and amplifying the mechanical oscillations in the area of an opposite second end face (17, 18), wherein the hollow cylinder can be turned to the inside at the tapered end, so that the two end faces (12, 17, 13, 18) point approximately in the same direction. The invention is used for soundless cooling, and for generating "acoustic streaming." |
