PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device configured to prevent damage to members or scattering of toner as developer, in mounting a developer container as a toner cartridge.SOLUTION: An image forming device includes an upper cover for covering a top of a developer container when closed, and a holding cover for holding the developer container. The upper cover allows removal of the developer container when opened. The holding cover allows removal of an imaging unit when opened. When the upper cover is closed, communication state securing means secures a communication state between a developer supply port of the developer container and a developer receiving port of the imaging unit. When the upper cover is opened, regulation means prevents the developer container from coming off from the holding cover. |
