PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device which reduces fluctuations in the threshold voltage and realizes higher speed operation and lower power consumption.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device consists of a plurality of blocks. Supplying a body of a transistor in each block with an electric potential to change the threshold voltage for the block reduces fluctuations in the threshold voltage of the entire semiconductor device. In addition, changing the threshold voltage of the transistors enables high-speed operation of the transistors included in the blocks in operation, and reduces OFF current of the transistors included in the blocks not in operation. |
