PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incubator in which operation for tilting a lying bed base can be performed from any side of left and right treatment doors, the inside of a baby housing chamber can be easily cleaned and disinfected, and which therefore can improve work efficiency.SOLUTION: An arm 42 of a tilting mechanism 41 is connected to one end of a spindle 55 along a direction orthogonal to the axial direction of a rotary shaft 53, and the other end of the spindle 55 is extended to the outside of a baby housing chamber 7 and connected with a drive unit 43. The drive unit 43 includes a feed screw shaft 44 along a direction orthogonal to the spindle 55, a rack gear 45 engaged with the feed screw shaft 44 and moved in the axial direction thereof, and a pinion gear 46 meshed with the rack gear 45. The spindle 55 is fixed to the rotation center of the pinion gear 46, rotating operation parts 61 for adding rotation to the feed screw shaft 44 are provided respectively on both ends of the feed screw shaft 44, and the rotating operation parts 61 are arranged toward both sides of a hood 8 on the outer side of the hood 8. |
