摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide advantageous operating conditions where a space can be saved and it can be operated at a low cost in both operating modes in a combustion engine that can be operated both in high efficiency operating mode and NOemission reduction operating mode.SOLUTION: A combustion engine includes a cylinder, a combustion chamber, a first turbo charge stage 1, exhaust gas recirculating devices 3, 15, a second turbo charge stage 2, and change-over mechanisms 11, 12, 13, wherein a second exhaust gas flow can be supplied or recirculated selectively into or in the second turbo charge stage through the change-over mechanisms, the exhaust gas recirculating devices have an exhaust gas recirculating conduit 3 running from an exhaust port side to a suction port side, and an exhaust gas cooler 6 is disposed in the exhaust gas recirculating conduit, and second filling air conduits L21, L2B2, L2 guided through the second turbo charge stage on a compressor side are guided through the exhaust gas cooler disposed in the exhaust gas recirculating conduit in a central conduit section L2B2.
