PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal conductivity-variable material for achieving a heat controller having a simple and compact structure not necessitating the installation of a cooler in addition to a heat insulating material.SOLUTION: A thermal conductivity-variable material contains: a particle having a higher thermal conductivity than a polymeric material and having properties of magnetically polarizing by a magnetic action; and/or a particle having a property of electrically polarizing by an electric field action, dispersed in the polymeric material; and the application of a magnetic field and/or an electric field brings at least a part of the particles into mutual contact and raises the thermal conductivity.
