PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method and a manufacturing apparatus, capable of accurately and readily manufacturing a glass sheet having a through-hole by direct press-molding.SOLUTION: In a dropping step (A), a prescribed amount of molten glass 5 is dropped onto a lower die 3 comprising a first lower die 1 having a through-hole 1h and a second lower die 2 having a protrusion 2p, wherein the through-hole 1h is blocked by the protrusion 2p inserted from lower side of the first lower die 1. In a retraction step (B), the protrusion 2p is retracted downward from the through-hole 1h. In a pressing step (C), an upper die 4 having the protrusion 2p is moved downward, thereby forming a through-hole 5h on the molten glass 5 on the lower die 3 by the protrusion 4p of the upper die 4 so that the protrusion 4p of the upper die 4 is inserted into the through-hole 1h of the first lower die 1, and a glass plane 5s is subsequently formed by pressing with the upper die 4. |
