An anti-skid device formed by connecting anti-skid bodies arranged in the circumferential direction of a tire for an automobile, the anti-skid device configured so that the anti-skid bodies can be easily connected to and separated from each other. Connectors have a simple configuration and can be manufactured easily. Connectors are each formed to have a bar-like shape and a tube-like shape and are mounted to the front side and the rear side of each anti-skid body. An operation member is configured in such a manner that a mounting bar (32) and a connection bar (33) are arranged parallel to each other and are connected by an operation bar (34), the mounting bar and the connection bar are inserted into a mounting hole (35) and a connection hole (36) which are provided in a tube-shaped connector (22), and the operation member is set to be movable in the direction transverse the tube-shaped connector. The connection bar comes out of the connection hole when the operation member moves in the forward direction, and the connection bar is inserted into the connection hole when the operation member moves in the backward direction. An elastic member (37) for applying a backward movement force to the operation member is provided. In connection operation, the operation member is moved forward, a bar-like connector (21) is inserted into the tube-like connector, and the operation member is moved backward to insert the connection bar into the connection hole (27) of the bar-like connector. In separation operation, the operation member is moved forward to pull out the connection bar from the connection hole of the bar-like connector and to pull out the bar-like connector from the tube-like connector. |
