PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system and an information processing method by which an effect of advertisement distribution can be improved.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus includes: a mail preparation unit 11 that distributes mail including link information by which a user can be identified to a plurality of users; and a cushion page preparation unit 16 that transmits, when receiving access based on the link information from a client 30 of the user, a web page for causing the client 30 to receive a cookie 38 for transmitting attribute information according to an attribute of the user to an ad network server 50 to the client 30 on the basis of the link information. |
