PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter for a liquid crystal display device in which defects in a transparent electrode layer, such as fracture, wrinkle, unevenness, and separation, will not occur even when a high temperature treatment is conducted for improvement of electric characteristics of a transparent conductive film.SOLUTION: A color filter for a liquid crystal display device includes a light-shielding layer, a colored pixel layer, an overcoat layer, and a transparent electrode layer on a glass substrate. A contact angle between water and a surface of the overcoat layer formed between the colored pixel layer and the transparent electrode layer is 30° or less. |
