PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a software license authentication method capable of suppressing a fraudulent use of a license while sharing a license between an operation system and a standby system in a redundancy configuration device installed in a closed network and to succeed the license when replacing the device.SOLUTION: The following processing is performed using inter-system communication between an operation system and a standby system. (1) A license file and a license key are installed in the operation system. (2) License synchronization between the operation system and the standby system is started. (3) When the operation system breaks down, the operation system is cut off from the closed network, and when another device is installed, license synchronization is performed with a new operation system (the old standby system), with the other device defined as a new standby system. (4) When the standby system breaks down, the standby system is cut off from the closed network, and license synchronization is performed with the operation system, with another device defined as a new standby system. (5) A device holding the license monitors whether there is a fraudulent use of the license in the closed network or not. |
