The present invention provides a method and a device for removing a policy and charging control rule on a default bearer, so as to timely and accurately remove a temporary policy and charging control rule and keep the continuity of a voice service of a user equipment. The method comprises: when flow description information about a service flow is received, determining whether the received service flow is a service flow of an SRVCC handover; and if the received service flow is the service flow of the SRVCC handover, removing the policy and charging control rule activated for the SRVCC handover on the default bearer, and meanwhile, delivering a policy and charging control rule made for a new bearer. The method provided in the present invention does not depend on the setting of a timer; therefore, the method does not have a problem in which the setting of a duration of the timer is inaccurate, and can accurately and timely remove the policy and charging control rule activated on the default bearer and is capable of keeping the continuity of the voice service of the user equipment; and meanwhile, resources are saved when the policy and charging control rule activated on the default bearer is timely removed. |
