The feed device (10) comprises a feed opening (14), which is extending along a vertical feed direction with differently inclined side walls (12a,12b,12c,12d), and two axially parallel rolling units (1), which are arranged at an end of the feed opening lying in the feed direction on two opposite sides of the feed opening. The rolling unit has two different diameters in the axial direction. An outlet cross-section of the feed opening is limited by the two rolling units.
