The present invention relates to a washing machine which reduces noise and vibration generated when a drum is rotated by floating the drum inside of a tub using magnetic force and rotating the drum using magnetic force. The washing machine comprises: a cabinet having an inlet into which laundry is put; a tub which is formed inside of the cabinet to store washing water and has a tub opening connected to the inlet of the cabinet; a drum which is formed inside of the tub to store the washing water and has a drum opening connected to the tub opening; and a drum support unit which floats the drum inside of the tub using the repulsive force between a magnetic unit formed in the tub and a magnetic unit formed in the drum. |
