PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit for purifying blood which prevents an increase in risk of a thrombus while suppressing the amount of escaping blood stream to a low value.SOLUTION: A unit 100 for purifying blood is used for a system 1 for purifying blood which performs purification of blood. The system 1 for purifying blood includes a bypass circuit 40 connected to a part of an artery-side circuit 20 and to a part of a vein-side circuit 30 in a manner to bypass a blood purifier 10. The unit 100 has at least a blood pump 120 which is so constituted that it can be disposed at a position located in a region from an escaping blood port 26 to the portion of connection with the bypass circuit 40 in the artery-side circuit 20, and is provided for sending the blood on the artery-side circuit 20 toward the blood purifier 10, a pump 122 for the bypass circuit which is so constituted that it can be disposed on the bypass circuit 40 and is provided for sending the blood on the bypass circuit 40 toward the side of the artery-side circuit 20 from the side of the vein-side circuit 30, and a control part 150 which controls driving of each of the pumps 120 and 122. |
