PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus in which vibration is suppressed without any difference in an abrasion level between a carriage and a guide shaft.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording apparatus makes a carriage 601 reciprocate in a direction in which a guide shaft 108 extends without ink ejection, and thus stirring ink in an ink tank. The movement of the carriage 601 is controlled so that there are a plurality of positions where the stirring operation is performed within a range in which the carriage 601 is movable. |
