COMMUNICATION MEMBER OF A CAN FD COMMUNICATION NETWORK HAVING MULTIPLE STATES COMPATIBLE WITH CAN HS COMMUNICATION MEMBERS

A communication member (O2) is intended to be fitted to a CAN FD network comprising a bus comprising a first so-called CAN_H (CH) wire and a second so-called CAN_L (CL) wire that can be placed in different voltage combinations defining two differential voltages corresponding respectively to so-called recessive and slow dominant states separated by a first differential voltage range. This member (O2) is further arranged to place the first and second wires in other different voltage combinations defining at least one other differential voltage corresponding to another so-called fast dominant state separated from the recessive state and from the slow dominant state by a second differential voltage range.
