PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for cable connection which enables users to visually check if a flat cable is inserted in a complete state, facilitates manufacturing and attachment of auxiliary metal fittings for connector attachment, and also allows the flat cable to be connected reliably, despite a simple structure.SOLUTION: A connector for cable connection comprises: a terminal which is attached on a housing and comprises a contact part electrically connected to conductive wire of a flat cable; an actuator comprising a main body which is capable of changing postures between a first position and a second position, and becomes substantially parallel to an insertion direction of the flat cable in the second position, and abutment parts which are formed on both sides of the main body; and flat auxiliary metal fittings for connector attachment which are attached on both sides of the housing. The auxiliary metal fittings for connector attachment each comprise a support surface with which each of the abutment parts comes into contact in the second position. |
