PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device abnormality countermeasure system, capable of improving user convenience on the occurrence of abnormality.SOLUTION: A device abnormality countermeasure system 100 includes a host unit 20 provided in a network and a player 10 configured to be communicable with the host unit 20 through the network. On the occurrence of abnormality in a predetermined function of the player 10, the player 10 is configured to transmit abnormality occurrence information, indicative of the abnormality occurrence in the predetermined function, to the host unit 20 through the network. Based on the abnormality occurrence information, the host unit 20 notifies a user of inquiry information as to whether the user performs an abnormality countermeasure or the user requests the host unit 20 side to perform an abnormality countermeasure. |
