<p>An outer tube body of this operating force changing device is connected to the gear parts of a zoom ring of a lens barrel, and the outer tube body rotates together with the rotation of the zoom ring. The outer tube body is formed as a cylinder, and an inner tube body, the rotation of which is restricted, is inserted in the hollow part of the outer tube body. A gap is formed between the inner circumferential surface of the outer tube body and the outer circumferential surface of the inner tube body, and grease is introduced into this gap. Accordingly, a load is imparted by the viscosity resistance of the grease with respect to the rotation of the outer tube body, and that load is imparted via the outer tube body to the rotation of the zoom ring. Furthermore, the inner tube body can be displaced in the direction of the central axis, thereby changing the area of the region of sliding contact between the outer tube body and the inner tube body. Thus, the load with respect to the rotation of the outer tube body can be changed, thereby enabling the operating force for rotating the zoom ring to be changed.</p> |
