PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propylene resin composition for forming a blown film suppressing appearance defects comprising weld marks, streak lines or unevenness characteristics to inflation molding, and a method for producing a film.SOLUTION: There is provided a propylene resin composition containing 99-50 pts.wt. of a specific propylene polymer (A) and 1-50 pts.wt. of a propylene-ethylene copolymer (B) satisfying conditions (B-i) to (B-ii). The propylene-ethylene copolymer (B) is a propylene resin composition for a blown film molding that is composed of 65-95 wt.% of a propylene polymer component (B1) satisfying the condition (B1-i) and 5-35 wt.% of a propylene-ethylene copolymer (B2) satisfying the conditions (B2-i) and (B2-ii) based on 100 wt.% of the sum of the components (B1) and (B2). (B-i) The ethylene content of the copolymer (B) is 0.4-13 wt.%; (B-ii) MFR of the copolymer (B) is 0.5-20 g/10 min; (B1-i) the ethylene content of the polymer component (B1) is 0-6.0 wt.%; (B2-i) the ethylene content of the copolymer component (B2) is 3-25 wt.%; and (B2-ii) MFR of the copolymer component (B2) is 0.0001-0.5 g/10 min.
